Multinational company placed in tarragona wants: production manager main candidate professional features (items sorted descending by importance) 1. management skills a. mature to manage a group of 4 well skilled managers delegating in them when necessary. b. able to stand alone and continue self motivated. c. able to interpret matrix instructions and to apply in a motivating general way in the plant floor. d. able to manage in ambiguous scenarios. e. proven ability to manage significant change. 2. managing complexity: at least 5-10 years of experience in general production/manufacturing environments with at least 150 people reporting and dealing with a matrix reporting line: a. drives flexibility. b. planning, co-ordination and control of industrial processes so that goods are produce timely. c. efficiency enhancement, cost control and optimization. able to propose feasible innovations. d. analyze production specs and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, inventory, tools and headcount needs. e. production follow up: results vs. standard, sets procedures and goals for operators. managing proactively conflict. f. inventory management. g. sets and labels organization accountable to achieve high standards of quality, performance, cleanliness, customer service, etc. 3. international profile. ideal candidate could be a national but having experience in multinational companies, preferably with acknowledged strengths in quality, lean manufacturing and process control techniques. 4. technical manufacturing experience in these fields a. manufacturing continuous improvement b. lean manufacturing 5. industry experience (not an absolute must but will be a plus) a. plastic injection (injection molding) and plastic extrusion b. printing knowledge: assembly processes, printing (serigraphy, broidery, digital printing) and packaging. candidate education and training education (requested) postgraduate (preferred) - engineer- technical engineer - mba - operations management master language skills english language an absolute must other candidate features (items sorted descending by importance) 1. live in tarragona is the preferred option (relocation will be provided if necessary) 2. candidate should live as maximum 1 hour drive from tarragona (120 km away from the factory) benefits package 1. base salary 2. other benefits: bonus 3. stock options |
